1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Anchor platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. Anchor is operated by Anchor Rentals Ltd., based in Nassau, The Bahamas.

2. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and verify it before accessing the platform.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must select your correct role (Tenant or Landlord) during registration.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts.

3. Property Listings

• All property listings are subject to review and approval by Anchor before being published.
• Landlords must provide accurate and truthful information about their properties.
• Listings may be removed if found to contain misleading information, fraudulent details, or inappropriate content.
• Anchor does not guarantee the accuracy of any listing and is not responsible for disputes between landlords and tenants.
• Duplicate listings for the same property are not permitted.

4. Tenant Responsibilities

• Tenants should exercise due diligence when contacting landlords and viewing properties.
• Anchor is a listing platform only — we do not facilitate payments, sign leases, or act as an intermediary in rental agreements.
• Always verify property details in person before entering into any rental agreement.
• Report suspicious listings using the report feature on any property page.

5. Landlord Responsibilities

• Landlords must have the legal right to rent the properties they list.
• Contact information provided will be visible to logged-in users.
• Landlords must respond to tenant inquiries and applications in a timely and respectful manner.
• Discriminatory practices in tenant selection are prohibited.

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or information.
• Use the platform for illegal purposes or to facilitate illegal activity.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users of the platform.
• Attempt to bypass platform security or access other users' data.
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the platform without permission.
• Use the platform to send spam or unsolicited communications.

7. Limitation of Liability

Anchor provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• The accuracy or completeness of property listings.
• Any disputes, damages, or losses arising from rental agreements between users.
• Service interruptions, data loss, or security breaches beyond our reasonable control.
• Third-party actions, including those of landlords or tenants using the platform.

8. Termination

Anchor reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms of Service, without prior notice. Users may delete their accounts at any time by contacting support.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
